What are PLR or ‘Private Label Rights‘ articles?
A PLR article is written and made available for others to use with the full legal rights to modify the article, use it “as is” or even resell it later.
PLR articles of any topic or niche are easily available on the internet and often they come in a set of articles. Not only it provides your blog with ‘fresh contents’ almost instantly , it cuts out most of the work for you, thus saving hours of researching and writing.
PLR Articles vs Unique Contents
If you decide to use them “as is”, you have to deal with duplicate contents, as in its original form, you are more likely to have the exact copy just like everyone else who is using the same ‘unchanged’ PLR article.
Though Google doesn’t penalize your site for having duplicate contents, nothing beats unique contents any day. That said, it’s advisable that you rewrite and ‘tweak’ its content to personalize it to some degree.
Now how do you import those PLR articles to WordPress and set your blog on autopilot?

Personally, I like to use PLR articles to get my ideas going and I usually leave the article sitting as I go on my own. I like to write my own content for my main blogs but this program might work great for set-it and forget-it sites like affiliate and AdSense sites. I also realize that there may be people that want a blog that find it difficult to write original content. This may be the perfect solution for them. It looks like a nice product.

This is a pretty interesting plugin and I can see how it would be very handy. I don’t use PLR on any sites AT THE MOMENT, but will definitely consider using this plugin once I move into that areana.
Thanks for the info!

@Brian:
Yes, PLR articles are more suitable for ‘built-it and forget-it’ niche sites. Of course, a little tweak might be needed, otherwise it’d be hard to rank in search engines; Google in particular.

PLR articles have one problem, hundreds of people use the same content.PLR articles are great for getting ideas for your own articles but if you need to use PLR articles, at least they should be completely re-written first.

You are absolutely right, Tom. Using PLR articles in its original form kinda lessen our credibility in the eyes of search engines.
It only gives us facts we can use to make our own story. Facts that requires research and PLR articles are made to eliminate the work of researching, so to speak.
Welcome to the community, Tom.

Wow - that’s a really neat little plug in, and I can think of a million uses for it.. and the price is right on point!
Combine this with outsourcing to some rewriters, and you could have a hands-off money machine if played right!

I always rewrite PLR articles before posting them. Sure, it might take a bit of extra time, but it’s worth it in the end.
