What the heck is American Express Wish List?
The Wish List is a program from American Express that offers limited quantities of some of the most sought-after items at incredibly low Cardmember-only prices, as well as hand-picked products with great savings.
The program runs twice a year: in the spring and during the winter holiday season but not anymore.
In May this year, American Express launched Daily Wish — an online marketplace that offers Cardmembers the products and experiences they want at the affordable prices they wish for - all year round.
What it means is that you don’t have to wait till December for your Christmas shopping. You can now buy any product you want at a price you wish for.
To what I’ve come to know, for three days a week, a new collection of hand-picked products made into the list and goes on sale at savings up to 50%. The products are a mix of affordable luxuries and everyday value, travel packages, must-have electronics, shopping sprees and more.
You can also find some great deals from well-known brands like Apple, Office Depot, Barnes & Noble and Target.
Here’s how American Express Wish List works.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, a new collection of offers and products becomes available. On the sale day, the sale time is revealed and a countdown begins.
Once the sale begins, Cardmembers can click on the “I Want It” button and the opportunity to buy is given to the first participants, until quantities of the item on sale run out.
Those offers go on a first-come, first-served basis, so you have to be quick! I suggest you opt for Weekly Alert where you’ll get a sneak peek of what’s on offer before it goes on sale.
Now everyone can have what they wish for! (as long as you’re a Cardmember, of course). With American Express Wish List, you’ll never run out of Christmas gift ideas again.
