Different people deal with insomnia or other sleep issues in more different ways than one.
One of those is using an eye pillow.
Made out of natural fabric such as cotton or silk. They are usually filled with various herbs, such as flax seed, lavender, chamomile, eucalyptus, or rose petals.
This pillow is designed to apply the right acupressure to your temples and facial muscles, helping you to relieve tension and induce relaxation, especially when you have difficulty falling asleep.
Due to the popularity (and effectiveness) of eye pillows, in recent times we have seen the emergence of various kinds of eye pillows such as herbal eye pillows, aromatherapy eye pillows and even yoga eye pillows.
To what I’ve come to know it is said to cure or alleviate such common problems as migraines, relief from anxiety, stress, minor headaches, mild depression, and insomnia.
There have also been many accounts and past experiences which will agree that eye pillow is a perfect solution to soothe eye strain and eye fatigue.
You see, a big part of my work involves sitting in front of the computer all day long and my eye pillow does a pretty great job of soothing my strained eyes. In fact, I use it relieve the symptoms of computer vision syndrome (CVS).
Whether it is for insomnia or simply for relaxation, an eye pillow is great for any time you need to relax, get rid of a sinus headache, or need a little help drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
It is indeed the best companion for your eyes (and mine too).
