A good alternative is a low-card strawberry smoothie which contains only 1/5 of the calories of a normal smoothie.

Weight loss killer #2. Frappuccino

A few people cannot resist to a chocolate frappuccino. It’s an excellent choice of coffee and almost all coffee diners have it. The bad news is that it comes with 500 calories, 19g fat and about 59g sugar. This is too much for someone who wants to lose weight. The alternative is a nice regular filter coffee with a bit of low fat milk and no sugar.

Weight loss killer #3. Hot dogs

Hot dogs are everywhere. Take a walk on any major street and you will see a lot of places to buy your hot dog. It is cheap, tasty and easy to eat. It is also loaded with 600 calories which includes 30g fat. So, next time you want to satisfy your hunger quickly get an apple or two instead of a hot dog.

Weight loss killer #4. Muffins

Muffins are often thought as low calorie snacks. Well, this is not true since a regular coffee cake muffin comes with 600 calories and 25g of fat. Combine your muffin with a frappuccino and you are done for the day! You should skip muffins and prefer other snacks. A good and tasty replacement is one glazed donut which contains 1/3 of the calories and fat.

Next time you have a desire for a snack or coffee then think twice before you make your choice. If your goal is to lose weight then prefer more healthy, low in calories and low fat snacks. It is a shame to watch carefully what you eat during your main meals and destroy your efforts because of a coffee or a muffin.
